"Songs That Make Me Smile" on CD (autographed) by Maggie Peterson (Charlene Darling)
This special CD features the original tracks for three songs Maggie sang on "The Andy Griffith Show."
Margaret Ann Peterson, Maggie, started singing when in pigtails. Years before The Andy Griffith Show, she and her brother Jim formed the "Jada Quartette." Like her character, Charlene Darling, Maggie did not like songs that make you cry. So, the songs on this little CD are guaranteed to make you SMILE!
Recordings cover the period from the 1950's to present day.
* "Midnight Choo Choo" and "If You Want Some Loving" - 1950's
* "Salty Dog," "Shady Grove," and "There Is a Time" - 1960's
* "Felling Too Good," "Paper Moon," and "Being Green" - present day
This boutique CD is available in very limited quantity. And what's more...Maggie has autographed the cover insert of each one!
Maggie is still recovering from several injuries she suffered over the last few years to include several falls she'd taken. It's difficult for her to sign items so these signatures should be even more valued by fans. Weaver's is passing along all proceeds from sales to assist Maggie in her time of financial need.
Please continue to keep Maggie in your thoughts & prayers. There is a GoFundMe page administered by Maggie's family if you'd like to provide her additional support. https://www.gofundme.com/f/maggie-quotcharlene-darlingquot-peterson-needs-help
