Artist Rod Sadler (an actual police sketch artist!) has created a series of
pencil-sketch portraits of
actors and writers who worked on "The Andy Griffith Show." Each sketch is
on 8 1/2 x 11 in. high-quality card stock and is signed and numbered in pencil
by Rod Sadler. All the prints are also individually signed in ink by the
portrait subjects. The stars rendered by Rod are: Ronnie Schell (two roles on TAGS
and Duke Slater on "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C."), revered writer Harvey
Bullock ("The Pickle Story," "Opie the Birdman," "Mr. McBeevee,"
"The Haunted House," etc.), and Sheldon
Golomb (Opie's pal Arnold Bailey).
Our extraordinary prices for these special items (again, individually
signed by both the artist and the subjects!) are just $15.00 to $20.00
each.

Weaver's Department Store has a "bricks &
mortar" store to go along with our online store located
in
Mount Airy, N.C. (Andy Griffith's hometown). The store
is a part of the
Main-Oak Emporium at 245 City Hall Street
--- just a whiff and a
whisker off Main Street, near the Old City Jail. When you're in Mount
Airy, we invite you to drop by and browse at Weaver's in Space #304 on
the third floor of the Emporium (with an entrance on Main Street at our
floor). Most of the items that we sell online are
available at the Mount Airy store. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.,
Monday-Thursday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday & Saturday; and 1
p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
As with our sales Weaver's online, proceeds from
our Mount Airy store support all TAGSRWC activities and also
go toward our helping out with a wide variety of Mayberry events and
